FFUR has Cats & Kittens Available for Adoption
FFUR always has cats and kittens available for adoption. We’d love to see them all find happy, caring homes.
Take a look at all of the cats we have available for adoption, and please contact us if you see a cat that would be right for you!
Ms. Grey
Ms. Grey is a one-year old gray-striped tabby. She is very friendly, likes people (does not like other cats) and plays non-stop. She is in perfect health, but in the winter she was a dumped kitten outside and lost an ear to frostbite. Her hearing is not impacted by the injury and she is still quite adorable without the one ear. She has been spayed, has had all her vaccinations, is FeLV and FIV negative and is available for adoption.
Sophy
Sophy is a healthy and playful and very tidy gray and white cat. She was rescued from the last blizzard of the season. Her age is about one and a half to two years, she is healthy, has been spayed and has had all of her vaccinations and is FeLV and FIV negative. Sophy is slightly cranky from her life in a cage and would really like a home so that she can stop being cranky and can give someone the love she is waiting to shower on someone.
Milo
Milo is a gorgeous big red and white tabby. He’s very smart--he’s learned how to open his cage and let himself out. He comes when called, likes to be held and is very tidy. He was rescued from the streets where he had been abandoned by his previous owners. He’s in good health, FeLV and FIV negative, has been neutered and vaccinated. Milo is three years old, very friendly, likes people and is seeking a permanent home.
Luna the Tuna
Luna the Tuna is a lovely older tabby cat who most likes to roam around, find a comfortable spot and lie down. She also likes a good workout with a catnip toy. She enjoys nothing better than to sit next to you while you read or watch TV. She is sedate, tidy and quiet. Luna is FIV positive, but in good health and like most cats with FIV, will live a long time with proper veterinary care. Luna was hit by a car after being dumped by her previous owners. She required surgery for a hernia and also some problematic teeth. But she recovered nicely and will give love to anyone. Luna is approximately eight years old.

March
March was rescued off the streets in late March. She was very thin and very frightened. She has since been spayed, tested for FeLV/FIV (she’s negative) and been given her vaccinations. She is very playful and very loving and needs a home with lots of attention. March was six months old when we rescued her.
Darla
Darla is a handful--literally. One of the Holstein clan of feral cats we tend at FFUR (so named because of their distinctive black and white markings), Darling Darla as we call her has a few issues. She’s loving--on her own terms. But being caged has made her less docile than she was when we first rescued her. She provides a challenge for whoever takes her in and does not get along with other cats. But she is getting better with people every day and would benefit from a loving and patient home. She is in perfect health and just over a year old. She has been spayed and is up to date on all her vaccinations.
Theodore
Theodore is a genuinely sweet and handsome tuxedo loverboy, with auburn highlights, recently rescued in University City. He is FIV positive, is approximately 1.5 to 2 yrs old, and has just been neutered and given his vaccines. Theo craves full-time love and companionship, either as a single kitty or perhaps with another FIV+ kitty. He has a wonderful and gentle nature from the moment he meets you; he just wants to be your best friend and to be near you.
Theo needs a foster or permanent situation with someone who has lots of love to give, preferably someone with a comfortable lap, who will whisper sweet nothings in his ear and pet him forever. He is currently fostering in a small room by himself, in a house where there are multiple kitties (including four other foster kitties), so he’s lonely a lot of the time. But he doesn’t resent; he is thankful for anything he receives, and he will tell you so! This guy deserves the best and will never take you for granted. All he needs is love.

Myrtle
Myrtle is a little spitfire. She loves to play with the bigger cats and has no problem telling them who’s boss. She’s also very sweet and loves people (especially ones with treats!). She is FeLV and FIV negative and neutered. Myrtle will fill the right person’s life with excitement and fun.
Spats
Spats is a prototypical tuxedo cat and just darling. At only six months old, she was already pregnant when FFUR managed to rescue her last fall.
Spats is the daughter of Violet, one of the feral cats in the FFUR colony who FFUR has yet to be able to trap to spay and thus, like most stray cats, keeps producing kittens.
Spats is thin, but otherwise very healthy, FLV/FIV negative and has been spayed. She is highly energetic and loves to run up and down the stairs.
She likes to be held briefly and always purrs when picked up, but she is still getting used to people, since she was born on the street. Spats will give lots of love. Like many cats, Spats has “issues” with other cats. While she is friendly and loving with people and purrs as soon as you pet her, she cannot be in a home with another pet.
